Exotic Animals

When I read that a library a half hour away from my home was holding an exotic animal petting zoo for adults, I took a double take.

It was midweek in the afternoon. I thought, “How often do I get to pet a kangaroo and a chinchilla on the same day? Would this be something that I would give a high priority to while on vacation? “ My answer was “yes”.

Caught Off Guard

I was taking a day trip to New York City and was waiting to take a downtown bus from 42nd Street and 2nd Ave. I saw some ticket kiosks, but ignored them because I had a MetroCard load with sufficient fare.

Film Making with a Social Purpose

My interest to expand my video producing skills led me to volunteer as a DFVA crew member to film a short documentary style message for the Spark Makerspace in New London, CT. Our project was to create video content for their Kickstarter message and a member recruitment video.
