I am always on the lookout for new adventures. I've learned that stepping out of my comfort zone is where magic and happiness thrive.
In the company of 4,000 participants meeting up at 4 locations in Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn, I selected the right “equipment” and then headed to the East Village meeting point.
The remit was clear - get on the first train, remove your pants and act nonchalant. Disembark the train at a assigned platform stop and get on the next train with your pants already off, then act that it is a coincidence that others are doing the same.
My emotions were all over the place, but when the time came for me to pull off my pants there was elation. Seeing the reactions of those around me was live theatre at its finest.
We formed a community of the fearless and the fun hearted. We changed the status quo in the subway for an hour. We delivered the goal as one team. Success felt great.
When did you step out of your comfort zone to partake in uncommon travel? How did it make you feel?
