The second year in my new career as a Travel Artisan was an exciting one. During speaking engagements I focused on sense-making of Travel as an enabler for better experiences. I was featured as a Travel Expert on TV and in Connecticut Magazine. I experimented with my Art of Travel and challenged myself to ramp up my “norm”.
My long distance travel adventures led me to homestays in Tbilisi Georgia, Baku Azerbaijan and Bali Indonesia. Closer to home I participated in a 24 hour Musical Marathon performance, tried sensory deprivation and visiting a surreal Art in a New England park
I continuously worked my New Year’s Resolution to meet more people. When I was “on the fence” about doing something or going somewhere, I asked myself, “Will this be a chance to meet someone?” This resulted in my decision to go for it.
I’m grateful for these new experiences, which gifted me fresh insights about why I love what I do.
Which of your 2016 travel experience did you love?
